Olivia Rodrigo
Olivia Isabel Rodrigo, born February 20, 2003 is an American performer and singer-songwriter. In the latter part of the decade she became famous for her roles as the lead actress in Disney's TV shows Bizaardvark (High School Musical: The Musical: The Series). Rodrigo's debut single "Drivers License", was released by Interscope Records and Geffen in 2020. It broke records in a variety of genres and was among the most popular songs of 2021. This propelled her into the mainstream spotlight. It was followed by singles "Deja Vu" and "Good 4 U", and released her debut solo studio album Sour (2021), that was a commercial and critical success receiving numerous accolades, including three Grammy Awards. Olivia Rodrigo, a Disney+ documentary on her creative process in Sour came out in 2022. Apart from other awards, she won an American Music Award seven Billboard Music Awards and four MTV Video Music Awards. Time called her 2021's Entertainer and Billboard classified her as a woman of the year in 2022.
Rodrigo received numerous accolades for her contributions to music, including three Grammy Awards. [111] Billboard awarded Rodrigo the Women of the Year award during the 2022 Billboard Women in Music. [112] She also received the Variety Songwriter of the Year awards in 2021. at the 2022 ASCAP Awards. [114]
