Lis Wehl, born August 19, 1961 in the United States, is an author and the former legal expert of Fox News.
She is an adjunct professor at Law at New York Law School. In the past, she was an associate professor of Law University of Washington Law School. In addition, she has made legal commentaries for Bill O'Reilly's radio show as well as National Public Radio. She appears weekly for The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs Today. The Imus breakfast show. The Legal Lis podcast and radio show.
Wiehl was raised in Yakima, Washington, and was a graduate of West Valley High School in Yakima. She received her degree from Barnard College with a Bachelor's Degree from 1983. In 1985 she received the Master of Arts degree in Literature from the University of Queensland. And in 1987 she was awarded a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School.
Wiehl served as she was a US attorney. She also worked as a legal reporter on NPR's All Things Considered. She was "the deputy chief investigator for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the moment of Clinton's impeachment." She was tenured professor of legal studies in the University of Washington School of Law, Seattle from 1995-2001, and she directed in charge of the Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl has worked as a Fox News analyst since 2001.
