Ariel Winter

Ariel Winter (born Ariel Winter Workman on Janurary 28th, 1998 located in Los Angeles California) is an American actress, singer and voice actor. Ariel started her acting career from a young age. She appeared in a Cool Whip ad when she was only six. When she was 7 Ariel landed her first television role on an episode on CBS's comedy show Listen Up! The next time she appeared on television, it was in Monk Bones, ER and other shows. In 2007, she was cast in the character of Gretchen on The Disney Original Channel animated series Phineas and Ferb. Two years later, after that, she was cast in the role of Alex Dunphy for the smash television series Modern Family. With the cast from Modern Family she received the Screen Actors Guild Award in 4 different years as the the Best ensemble Comedy Series. Ariel continues to do voiceovers for characters appearing in movies such as ParaNorman Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs and Scooby-Doo! Stage Fright. Ariel is a Taekwondo purple belt. Ariel is the younger sister of Shanelle Workman (actor) as well as Jimmy Workman (actor). The band she is in is known as WickedSweet and enjoys singing. She also participates in environmental groups that work to encourage sustainable living. In 2012, she applied for guardianship in behalf of her younger sister.
