Sofia and Ann

Sofia Pernas was born in Morocco. She came to California at the age of five. She grew up primarily in Orange County. She received her graduation in the University of California, San Diego in the year 2015, which was when she also got her first big break as an actor. Pernas, who had made brief appearances on NCIS as well as Leverage before landing the role as Marisa on The Young and the Restless and was an established name on the soap. The actress, who quit the soap in 2016, landed the role as Catalina as a regular in Jane the Virgin. She portrayed Lexi Vaziri on Blood & Treasure between 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly confirmed in May 2020 that Pernas has been engaged to her former The Young and the Restless actor Justin Hartley. The relationship began following Chrishell Stause, the This Is Us actress split in November 2018. Pernas Hartley as well as Pernas Hartley were married secretly in May of 2021.
