Simone Biles
Simone Biles is an American gymnast. Born on the 14th of March 1997, in Columbus Ohio U.S.A. In the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at a single Games as well as the first gymnast in history to win three consecutive all-around world championships (2013-15). Biles and the younger of her sisters Adria was adopted by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles the grandparents of Spring Texas (in the Houston area) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was first introduced to gymnastics by her daycare teacher Aimee Borman, when she was six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for eleven years. Biles was awarded a silver medal in vaulting in the year 2010 as well as a bronze medal at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Then she moved on to the level of elite competition in 2011. She was the most dominant in her sport just two years later. Biles stood out for her constant performance her exuberant attitude and the level of effort she introduced every event - vault bar, uneven bars the balance beam, and the ground exercise.
