Alison Krauss was born July 23, 1971, in the city of Decatur, Illinois. Alison Krauss and LeAnn Kymes were two of the youngest Grammy Award winners. Alison Maria Krauss was born in the month of July 1971. Alison is a country and bluegrass artist. Alison Maria Krauss began her career in music early, winning local competitions at the age of 10. Her first recording was her first recording at the age 14. The year 1985 saw her joined Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. In addition, she was invited to the band Alison Krauss Union Station where she is still performing. In 1989, she released her first solo album her first solo album was released together with them.
